TATTOO REQUIREMENTS

Please view the disqualification list below. Each client must be cleared of every item prior to booking an appointment:

• Must be at least 18 years or older

• Cannot be pregnant/nursing. You must wait until you are completely done with nursing before you get service done with us.

• Cannot have any transmittable blood conditions such as: HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis, and etc.

• Cannot be on Accutane

• Cannot be on Retin-A, Retinol, Fish oil, or any types of blood thinner ONE WEEK before getting a service done with us.

• No acne, blisters, rashes, bruises, scars, or any other types of undiagnosed open wounds on the procedure area.

• If there are any unexpected flare-ups, you must contact us IMMEDIATELY. Failure to do so and still show up will result in automatic reschedule and will be sent home.

• Cannot be on any skin medication such as steroids - which causes the skin to become more sensitive during the procedure.

• Cannot have eczema or psoriasis on the procedure area.

• No active skin cancer on the area.

• No diabetes, high blood pressure

• Anyone who had prior experience with inflammatory hyper-pigmentation.

• If you have had any surgical procedures such as: blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, eye surgery, eye lift, and etc done on the face area, please wait THREE MONTHS to fully heal before getting another procedure done.

• Cannot be under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Do not consume any alcohol beverages, medication, or caffeine 24 hours before your appointment. Failure to do so will result in excessive bruising, swelling, and bleeding during and after the procedure. May result in loss of pigmentation after healing

APPLIES TO LIP BLUSH ONLY:

• Exfoliate & moisture the lips 1 week prior to your appointment

• If you have prone to cold sores, please get medication from your doctors/ or contact me I will show you medication. ( Make sure to drink the tablets before and after the appointment)

• Please notify me if you have/had allergic reactions to topical anaesthetics.

• Important: Please read through the health check list below before attempting to book your appointment. If you have any of these conditions, you may not be qualified to book an appointment. For any questions or concerns, please contact us before booking. If you fail to inform us about any of these conditions and continue to go through with booking, we have the right to refuse service and deposit will be forfeited. Deposit is non-refundable. Please book wisely.

• Delicate skin or sensitive areas may be swollen or red; you are advised not to make social plans on the day of your enhancement.

ANY PREVIOUS WORK FOR BROWS or LIPS 

If you have any previous work done by another artist, please email me photos before booking to ensure that I am able to cover up or correct your old tattoo. In most cases, not all old tattoos are fixable.

Please send three (3) clear photos of your full face and either brows, lips or eyeliner with no makeup on them, unfiltered, and in natural lighting to: thaobeautylounge@gmail.com for review.

PRE-APPOINTMENT CARE:

To prepare for your appointment and ensure the best healed results please read the following:

1 MONTH PREPARATION:

• No botox in the area 4 weeks prior to the appointment

2 WEEK PREPARATION:

• Please avoid facials two weeks prior to the appointment

• Please discontinue retinol, vitamin a product, chemical peels and active skin care (anti-aging, etc.)

1 WEEK PREPARATION:

• Please avoid sun exposure one week prior to the appointment

24 HOUR PREPARATION:

• No blood thinners such as caffeine (coffee, caffeinated tea, pre-workout), alcohol, smoking, aspirin, Advil, ibuprofen, etc.

• If you are oily please exfoliate before your appointment

Failure to follow the above will result in a cancellation in your appointment and forfeiting your deposit.

AFTERCARE:

A detailed aftercare brochure will be provided to each client after the appointment. Below is a summary of the aftercare instructions you will receive:

• Scabbing process: 7-14 days

• No water contact on the brows or sweating for 7 days (Avoid getting them wet in the shower, steam/moisture, swimming, saunas, etc. for at least 7 days)

• Apply ointment twice a day beginning on the 3rd day until the brows completely scab off. Ointment will be provided.

• Avoid touching, scratching and picking on the scabs

• Do not apply any make up or skincare on the brows until the scabs has completely fallen off.
